Eye Care Tips

Usually we are well aware of various exercises, scrubs or lotions that will make us look younger than our real age. Many of us do yoga, jogging or swimming to keep our bodies fit but when it come to our eyes; we are totally blank. Most of us do not have any idea about the general health tips related to eyes or things that will keep our eyes healthy and fresh. For doing exercise you do not have to go to any gym or somewhere else.

You can do the exercise for eyes by sitting in your room, on your favorite chair or at any time of the day. Pick out any comfortable chair and sit on it. Rub your hands until you think they are warm, then close your eyes and cover your eyes with your hands. Do not put pressure on your eyes and do not cover your nose. Make sure that not even a little light should pass through your palms or fingers. Focus on the black area and remember any happy incident. Repeat this process for 3 minutes or more.

Moreover, close your eyes, gently massage you eyes in circular direction, and then wash your hands. Tightly close your eyes for 5 seconds and then open them. Repeat the process for 8 times. Relax your eye muscles and move the eye balls in every direction. Repeat it 8 times in a day for better results. Most common problems we can suffer from is eye twitching. This disease is defined as the unusual automatic blinking. This is also known as blinking disorder. Usually twitching in not a serious disease but in some cases it may be a serious disease caused by genes disorder. The common cause of twitching related to eyes is fatigue, tension, eyestrain, excessive intake of alcohol or caffeine or may be due to any irritation or injury.

There are many vitamins for eyes that may help to strengthen your eye sight. The most important vitamin is the Vitamin A. Vitamin A is abundantly found in carrots. Common disease caused by the deficiency of vitamin A is night blindness. So eating raw carrots will cover up the deficiency. However, it is very important that you should consult a doctor to find out that whether you do have vitamin A deficiency or not because too much of vitamin can be very dangerous and may even lead to cancer.

A survey was conducted and it was found that most of the eye problems experienced by youngsters are due to their exposure to the computer for longer times. Allergies can cause the strained eyes, blurriness and reddening of eyes. Therefore, to prevent your eyes from such diseases caused by the computer rays, it is better that you use computer eye drops. Computer eye drops help to relieve the minor discomforts caused by the computer screen. These eye drops are for minor discomforts that do not last for long. But if the discomfort lasts for an extended period of time than it is better that you consult an eye specialist. By applying these precautionary measures it will surely help your eyes to remain healthy.
